End of one - 1-0 Flyers; great period

The most impressive thing about the Flyers first period was how they bottled up the Rangers in the neutral zone, pressured the puck, and forced turnovers.

They also blocked a bunch of shots, and got their sticks into passing lanes, also thwarting opportunities.

The Rangers may have had seven shots, but very few, if any were high percentage.

The Flyers limited chances by playing a more desperate, team-oriented game.

That's 20 minutes worth, let's see if tey can do it for 40 more.
